Television Doctor: Old Age is not a Disease

on BBC Two England

Ageing is a natural process which we have to accept. People today on average live thirty years longer than their ancestors of a hundred years ago, but... many old people today suffer from illnesses, some have badly balanced diets, and some are even short of water; others are starved of affection, and yet others die from cold in winter.
This programme deals with some of the medical hazards which can affect old people.
