Amateur cooks compete for the opportunity to go into business with distinguished chef and restaurateur Raymond Blanc.
Raymond loves showing people how to cook. With the couples called back to find out what he has in store for their weekend service, he first entertains them by knocking up a quick fricassee of tasty mushrooms. He then sends them out to demonstrate their own skills to the public.
One couple find entertaining the public with kitchen abilities great fun - even in the rain. Another couple have a bad day that just gets worse. The third couple forget what food is for. Inspectors Sarah Willingham and David Moore are not impressed.
After this the couples get back to their restaurants and hope their food demonstrations have pulled in some new customers. And, worryingly for them, Raymond will find out how it is going earlier than they had expected. In the end three couples will go into the challenge. Show less
