As a boy, Ishi watches most of his tribe being brutally massacred by white men. After years spent in the wilderness his remaining companions and members of his family die and Ishi is driven into the white man's world. This remarkable film - set in 1911 - tells Ishi's extraordinary true story and of his friendship with professor Benjamin Fuller.
