At one time pneumoconiosis was a scourge in the coal mines. Today research and treatment and measures to suppress dust keep the disease in check. What about other industries? Are they aware how important to them is the health of their workers? What problems do noise, repetition, and new materials bring? Should there be special local industrial health centres everywhere?
