A film series based on Sir Winston Churchill's Memoirs of World War II.

The victories of the 8th Army in North Africa and the linking up of Montgomery's and Eisenhower's troops put an end to Rommel's resistance in that Continent. At the same time the Russians, helped as always by the Russian winter, inflict a crushing defeat on the Germans at Stalingrad.
