Women at Arms

on BBC Two England

As Deadly as the Male?
' Kill! Kill! Blood makes the grass grow.' That's what Westpoint cadets cry on their bone-crushing bayonet assault course. When women first went through the course, some of them fainted at the thought of these blood-curdling words. So is it right that women should be involved at the sharp end of the killing machine?
Tonight Diane Harron , in the last of this three-part series on women in the armed forces of Britain, America and Israel, talks to one Israeli woman who knows what it's like to kill, and to other women who can kill at the press of a button.
' Killing is a dreadful business' ... so should it be left to the men?
