For the Schools: The Insect World: 3: Ants

on BBC Television

View in Radio Times

by David Attenborough
Ants are social insects, like honey bees, and live in colonies. There are many kinds in Britain, including the black ant and the wood ant.
Driver ants are always on the move and Amazon ants raid other nests for slaves. In many ways ants are the most remarkable of all insects, and this programme illustrates some of their fascinating activities.
