Ponies for Sale! 50 Pence!
JACQUELINE MAW of Malton, Yorks., presents a programme campaigning against cruelty to ponies caused by well-meaning but un-knowledgeable people.
Due to massive overbreeding many foals are sold for as little as 50 pence and inevitably a large proportion go to unsuitable homes where little is known about the expense and management of ponies.
Made by Jacqueline Maw in co-operation with the BBC's Community Programme Unit.
