Ed Kienholz and Ten Sitting Rooms
The BBC is repeating two early 70s films about exhibitions at the ICA which caused great controversy. Ed Kienholz built life-sized tableaux of contemporary American nightmares. In another exhibition ten young artists, including
Patrick Hughes and Andrew Logan , were asked to create a room into which the public could wander. This exhibition was entitled Ten Sitting Rooms. Director ALAN YENTOB
