A chance meeting aboard the QE2 between Glenn 'Fatal Attraction' Close and director Jon Blair resulted in their collaboration on this documentary, telling the story of a year in the life of the tiny cow-town of Big Piney, Wyoming. When
Close's parents settled there 12 years ago, she would occasionally accompany her father, who became the town's doctor, on his rounds. She thus encountered a host of people whose recollections she became determined to record on film before they and their way of life died out completely.
