Alexei Sayle's Stuff

on BBC Two England

A series of six programmes 3: Cartesian Dualism for the Fuller Figure

Dear Radio Times
What, oh what, have the BBC done to Alexei Sayle? As an 87-year-old pensioner and long-time fan of Mr Sayle's work, I was appalled at the way his tasteless strings of four-letter obscenities have been cut out, presumably to render him 'fit for family viewing'. My mother, in particular, was deeply upset at the exclusion of one of her favourite characters, Mr Sweary, the foul-mouthed Cockney who says s...., p...., b......... w.... over and over again. So come on, BBC producers, spare a thought for us senior citzens by giving us something we can enjoy. Unmitigated filth.
