One Man and His Dog

Four young shepherds, all under 20, compete on the same course as their elders alongside the Ladybower Reservoir in the Derbyshire Peak District for the BBCtv International Sheepdog Championship. Before the runs, there is an opportunity to meet the youngsters and learn about their families and the dogs who play such an important part in their lives. The competitors are Danny Black with Nell (Wales), Martyn Windle with Mirk (England),
Donal O'Sullivan with Bin (Ireland) and Michael Watt with Jix (Scotland). Introduced by Phil Drabble with Eric Halsall.
