The rediscovered work of amateur cameramen and nome movie ' makers of the 20s and 30s. Introduced by James Cameron
Just before the outbreak of the Second World War, F. C. Hynard
(now 95) made a film of life in the village of Eynsford in Kent.
Here are to be seen the Women s
Institute costume play on the castle lawn, the church fete the cricket match, the much-loved village characters and the less-loved weekend motorists and ramblers.
This personal view is accompanied by a lively commentary delivered by Mr Hynard himself.
