Serjeant Musgrave at the Court

Serjeant Musgrave's Dance, set in a mid-Victorian colliery town, was staged for the first time in 1959 at the Royal
Court. It was the third and to date biggest Court success for playwright John Arden , following The Waters of Babylon and Live Like Pigs. Arden and some of the performers talk about this first production.
