Cosmos

on BBC Two England

A Personal Voyage
Harmony of the Worlds

In episode 3 of Cosmos Carl Sagan's journey takes us to exotic and very ancient sites which bear vivid witness to early man's obsession with the stars-and the dawn of scientific observation.
From there we go to the turbulent 16th-century world of Hans Kepler, a tortured genius whose integrity and perseverance made him the last scientific astrologer and the first astrophysicist.

A joint production of KCET and Carl Sagan Productions Inc in association with BBC TV.
