Two years after the end of the First World War, two women from very different social backgrounds arrive at the Bureau for Soldiers Killed or Missing in Action in search of news of their loved one. For
Major Dellaplane, the bureau chief, theirs are just two of thousands of similar forlorn cases. But then the government demand the corpse of an unknown soldier for burial with full military honours under the Arc de Triomphe. In French with English subtitles.
