Music in Camera

on BBC Two England

During the next six months, Music in Camera will be providing a platform for 24 recitals.
In programmes linked only by the intimate nature of the performances, chamber music classics will rub shoulders with lesser-known music dating back to the beginnings of the European music tradition, and other works so recent they are still to be published. Kiri Te Kanawa and Roger Vignoles open the series with a programme of French song including operatic extracts as well as some Of CANTELOUBE'S 'Songs of the Auvergne'. In conversation with Sue MacGregor , Dame Kiri sheds light on her own approach to recital singing.
