Milos Forman's brilliant satirical comedy about a determined young girl who turns up unexpectedly at the home of her boy-friend's parents.
This film won the Cidalc prize in Venice in 1965. Milos Forman's first full-length feature Peter and Paula has already been seen on BBC-tv; his latest film The Fire-man's Ball has just been released in London and was included by Dilys Powell, film critic of The Sunday Times, among her list of the ten best films of 1968.
