Fifi'sBoys
When Jane Goodall started studying chimpanzees in the wild in 1960 one of the first she got to know was a youngster she called Fifi. Fifi has grown into a 37-year-old matriarch with six offspring in a community of about 40 chimps. Her eldest son is top male, while the second-born is starting to challenge him for leadership. Fifi's two youngest sons are dependent upon her and have much to learn - how to extract termites from the ground, which baboons are safe to play with and how to hunt monkeys. This film portrait, introduced by Jane Goodall herself, provides an insight into the private lives of man's closest relatives.
