Worlds Apart

on BBC Two England

How did the Universe form and where do we belong in our galaxy, the Milky Way? These questions relate to our knowledge and understanding of our planetary neighbours.
In this year's production for the Royal Astronomical Society and the Open Science Society, Dr Garry Hunt takes us through the solar system, and looks in detail at some of the new and exciting evidence coming out of Voyager, Pioneer and other recent space missions to the planets.
But planetary science is a rapidly developing subject and we look to the future of space exploration - not only in this decade, but also into the next century.
