A series of seven monthly films exploring the English hedgerow July
The hedgerow in July abounds with insects. Some are obvious - the hover flies and soldier beetles on the banqueting tables of hog-weed, or bumble-bees pollinating foxgloves. Others remain hidden on the leaves and branches of shrubs. David Streeter and Rosamond Richardson investigate this insect activity, and show how to make use of the hedgerow harvest for a July menu.
