Wheelbase: Who Buys a Bike?

on BBC Two England

Gordon Wilkins covers the world of motor cycling

For every one motor-bike buyer in Britain there are about ten customers for cars. But traffic jams and motoring taxes could switch drivers from four wheels to two.
Harry Louis, Editor-in-Chief, "Motor Cycle," looks forward to the bike of the 1970s; and Britain's top racing rider, Phil Read, and a motor cycle enthusiast, The Earl of Denbigh, test some of the latest luxury models from Britain, Germany, and Japan.
