A repeat of the programme, first shown in 2nd House, for those who' cannot hear.
There are over a million totally, and many more partially deaf people in Britain. The British Theatre of the Deaf puts on its productions in sign-mime, a theatrical version of the deaf sign-language. This mime-language is expressive to a degree that surprised our production team: the Company are very aware that the whole community, not only the deaf, can enjoy their work. They insist that we take note of their name: not 'Theatre for', but ' Theatre of the Deaf
