The European Union is eagerto regulate workingtime and to protect workers'rights by limiting the working week to a maximum of 48 hours. But this is one of the latest issues on which
Britain's govern mentis not in agreement with its European partners.
David Waltertravels across Europe to investigate the state of the EU's working hours - from Portugal, which has the longest working hours in Europe, to Austria, where working overtime is seen in a negative light.
