Tombstone, Arizona, 1881. Following the shootout at the OK Corral, Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday are arrested for killing three members of the notorious Clanton gang.
When the case against the men is dismissed, the gang's ruthless leader Ike Clanton swears revenge and begins a vendetta against Earp and his family.
