Sheep Handling and Shearing: 'Farming' visits Cockle Park, where Professor M. M. Cooper, Dean of Agriculture, Durham University, has a shearing shed modelled, on New Zealand lines. Sheep handling and shearing, and wool handling are demonstrated and an excerpt from a film is shown of the New Zealand shearer, Godfrey Bowen, in action.

Veterinary: The Veterinary Surgeon is also at Cockle Park and demonstrates correct preventive practices in the sheep farmer's routine.
