Michael Palin continues his trip from the North to South Pole.
Plains and Boats and Trains
Having survived civil wars, desert and drought, Palin takes a relaxing break on the "Ernest Hemingway tented safari" in Kenya. Then it's onward through Tanzania by train, and on to the ferry that will carry him down Lake Tanganyika.
With a fairly easy route ahead of him, Palin is now confident he'll catch the once-a-year sailing from Cape Town to the Antarctic. 0 TELETEXT SUBTITLES: page 888
