Held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital every May, the Chelsea Flower Show is Britain's most Prestigious horticultural event. For the quarter of a million visitors the fragrance and colour combine to produce an unrivalled spectacle.
Behind its success lies the detailed planning and work of the exhibitors, each striving to produce the perfection necessary to win one of the Royal Horticultural Society's coveted gold medals.
Peter Seabrook visits some of them to see how they achieve such a high standard, and asks why Chelsea still / has that little touch of ' magic /
