A documentary portrait of a sculptor and his work.
For a sculpture called Boy with a Dolphin he took up swimming in a dolphin pool; for a commission to sculpt a grizzly bear he went off to track the reclusive and dangerous grizzlies of the Canadian Rockies.
David Wynne has 11 sculptures prominently displayed in London, and many more around the world. He was recently commissioned to design the Queen's Jubilee Medal.
This film studies the life and work of an extraordinary artist, including the progress of one sculpture, a marble reclining nude for Bowood House, from sketch-pad to stone.
