The lady they call ' The Bitch of Fleet Street' is painted by the lady whom Annigoni once described as 'the perfect English rose'.
Miss Rook thought the painting a trifle flattering, but threatened to claw the eyes out of anyone who tried to change it. Regular readers of her column will recognise this as a lucky escape.
