Over the next five weeks Network East presents some of the Indian sub-continent's finest performers from the world of music and theatre in concert at the BBC's Pebble Mill studios.

Now established as one of India's finest singers, Penaaz Masani began singing at the age of 7. Her repertoire extends from passionate ghazals (love poems set to music) to Hindi film songs.
