Third Eye

on BBC Two England

A series of personal views from the Third World.
A Limit to Submission
Third Eye this week focuses on the Horn of Africa which, because of its strategic importance, has been a trouble spot for over a century. Dr Hussein Mohammed Adam of the Somali Studies International Association explains how ' global strategy' and ' super-power intervention ' have helped create the largest refugee crisis in the world. Yet he believes it is still possible to turn this battlefield into a land of peace and plenty for the sake of all the children of the Horn.
