Winchester Cathedral 1079-1979
Nine hundred Christmases ago the building of Winchester Cathedral, as it now stands, had just begun.
This documentary celebrates this ancient and beautiful place of worship in its anniversary year. From Palm Sunday in April until the Advent Carol Service this month, the film follows the life and work of clergy and people.
Running throughout is the music of one of the finest Cathedral Choirs in the world.
