The second of 13 films featuring the re-discovered work of amateur cameramen and ' home-movie' makers of the 20s and 30s.
Introduced by James Cameron
Tonight we meet the Eades family from Birmingham. They made a film record of their lives in the 1930s, and 40 years later we can follow their fortunes, from courtship to the birth of their first child on the brink of World War Two.
How formally we dressed in those days, didn't we? No jeans and jumpers. We kept our hats on when we went out for the day.
