Is Nikki Scott, aged 15, a lucky girl? For £1,500 a year her parents buy her a special and exclusive world - life at a girls' boarding school. Tudor Hall is set in beautiful, unspoilt countryside. There, Nikki is protected, happy, and secure. The world outside - from boys to social change - remains remote.
The last week of summer term is the climax of the school year and in this film we see what happens through Nikki's eyes as one way of life ends and another begins with her parents.
