Acquaintance Rape - Hidden from View, Hidden from Justice? A woman's fear of rape centres around the possibility of being attacked by a stranger. The reality is that women are far more likely to be raped by someone they know - a boyfriend or even their boss at work. As many as one in nine women could have been raped by such acquaintances. Jenny Cuffe reveals the findings of a major study of rape in Britain and asks: can the present laws deliver justice for those who have been attacked?
