A new historical thriller in four parts by Bill Craig with Ian Ogilvy as Dominic Allardyce and Roddy McMillan as Gillespie, Victor Carin as Moray, John Carlisle as Lethington and Alex McAvoy as Puddock
1565. The barque Virgin of Leith creeps slowly through a sea mist homeward bound to Scotland from France. She carries three passengers. One is a soldier of fortune, Dominic Allardyce, lately of the French King's Garde Ecossaise. His companion is Puddock, a frog-like mountebank, recently met on the Dieppe quay-side. The third is a morose and anonymous Frenchman - and his puppet doll.
