Hot and spicy pickled cabbage (kimchee) and grilled beef (bulgogz) vie for the title of national dish of Korea. Madhur Jaffrey visits the Korean island of Cheju to find the beef and the fish which figure so largely in the Korean diet.
Preparing kimchee is an autumnal activity and Madhur visits a farming village to see it made in the traditional way.
