Few of us would want to follow world events like the Czech crisis and the American elections if we couldn't make judgments about them as they happen. We get annoyed when pre-packaged judgments are fed to us, and we get suspicious. We wonder whether half the evidence is missing.
This week Europa returns with a new season of foreign films, intended to reveal 'the other half of the evidence,' and the programme will consist each week of a variety of film material focused on one topical subject. It won't have been pre-packaged - but it will be in English.
