In an attempt to recover from a mental breakdown, Lou Sand retires to a secluded beach house. Her companion is a friend who intends to make a film about her life. Lou tells of her love affairs and faded romances. And of her formerly successful career as a fashion model. Gradually, fact and fantasy mix and Aaron, her would-be biographer, realises that it is too late to unravel the fragmented life of the glamorous and seriously disturbed woman.
