After an austere orphanage upbringing, a shyyoung woman becomes agoverness in a vast Yorkshire mansion where the master of the house, Rochester, appears troubled by some innertorment. However, a friendship slowly develops between them. The triple bill ends with Ferry to Hong Kong at4.40pm.
