Pete Townshend's rock opera receives characteristically vibrant treatment from director Russell in this spectacular, star-laden version of the opera. Roger Daltrey plays the pinball wizard hero and the songs which have become modern classics include 'See me, feel me', 'What about the boy', 'Pinball wizard' and 'I'm free'.
