Palace Life
Tadeusz Konwicki is the most talented writer still working and writing inside Poland, but his masterpiece A Minor Apocalypse cannot yet be officially published in his native country.
Konwicki's life story - home army partisan during the war, Stalinist communist during the 50s and literary non-person during the 70s - embodies the story of Poland over the last 50 years.
Tonight Bookmark follows Konwicki on a journey through the Palace of Culture, 'a gift from the Soviet Union and Joseph Stalin '.
