An abridged version in nine parts
Part 4 (from Book 6)
Stephen Murray as 'Giuseppe Caponsacchi '

Caponsacchi, canon of the church of Santa Maria della Pieve in Arezzo, accompanied Pompilia when she fled from her husband in April 1697 and was consigned to three years' relegation at Civita Vecchia for complicity in the flight.
