Tom Odell performs in front of an intimate audience at BBC Maida Vale studios.

BBC Maida Vale opens its doors to Ivor Novello- and Brit Award-winning pianist Tom Odell, who plays songs in front of an intimate audience.

This evening's Radio 2 In Concert, hosted by Jo Whiley, comes from a unique building steeped in history; BBC Maida Vale studio 3 opens its historic doors to Tom Odell. The Ivor Novello- and Brit-winning classically trained pianist has spent the last few years relentlessly touring and supporting huge names such as Elton John, Billy Joel and the Rolling Stones. Now he is back with his long-awaited second album The Wrong Crowd. Performing in front of an intimate crowd, the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter plays his highly emotive new material alongside tracks from his platinum-selling 2013 debut Long Way Down.
