The sixteenth of the series of West Country programmes of Simple Humour and Sophisticated Dance with T. HANNAM-CLARK in his usual part of Old Gaffer
One sketch from each of Old Gaffer's four years of broadcasting will be included in the programme, as follows :
1. SAIREY'S BIRTHDAY
2. ANCIENT AND MODERN
3. FLIES
4. GAFFER GETS ASTHMA
The scene of all the sketches is the bar-parlour of the Pheasant Inn at Molgrave
The cast includes
Victor Fawkes , Osbom Leach , Ivor Maddox , Daisy Parratt , Phyllis Smale
Gavottes of various periods and composers will be played at the beginning and at the end of the programme, and in the intervals between the sketches by THE CLIFTON LIGHT ORCHESTRA
