God Save the King
Barry Amateur Gardeners' Association held a Show for the first time in Romilly Park in 1910, when the prize money amounted to £20, and all the exhibits were housed in one small tent. To-day, 100,000 square feet of canvas are required to house the exhibits of the Barry Horticultural Society, and £300 is awarded in prize money.
