Between 5.15 and 6.0 this afternoon there will be an alternative programme test transmission. The West Regional transmitter, working on 968 kc/s (309.9 m.) will radiate the West Regional Children's Hour and the West National transmitter, working on 1,147 kc/s (261.6 m.), will radiate a programme of dance music by the B.B.C. Dance Orchestra, directed by Henry Hall.
