Bee-keeper, Paul Ellingham
Paul Ellingham , the man who made the Tongue-Twisting Bee famous by his series from the Edinburgh studios, has now branched out in a new line of business by devising a radio game in the form of a Bee to be played between members of the BBC Scottish Orchestra. He is well acquainted with the strengths and weaknesses of the players who will be competing against each other, for Paul Ellingham 's is the unseen and unheard hand that works behind the scenes during music broadcasts. He is head, in Scotland, of the department that balances' musicians at the microphone and controls ' their performances so that inequalities in transmission can be ironed out for the benefit of the listener.
