Charles and Mary will be the fourth play the Perth Repertory Theatre has broadcast within two years. In January, 1937, they were first heard in James Bridie 's Tobias and the Angel. Later they performed A Hundred Years Old and The Barretts of Wimpole Street, which was repeated in the main Regional programme.
Charles and Mary was originally produced at the Everyman Theatre, London, in 1930. The play was successfully presented for television from Alexandra Palace last May.
